The nomination picks that Donald Trump has been making for his cabinet have not been short of criticism, as a matter of fact, people have been seemingly concerned (outraged may be a more appropriate term) with Trumps willingness to appoint so many individuals with sketchy backgrounds, much of which include sexual scandals. Like others nominated to Trump's Cabinet, such as Hegseth and Gaetz; Linda Mcmahon is no stranger to scandals of the sexual nature. As a matter of fact, Mcmahon was named in the infamous "Ring Boy" sex abuse case, well known in the professional wrestling industry. While Linda's own sex abuse scandals are of great concern, there is another pressing matter regarding the appointed education secretary.
Linda Mcmahon wears more than one hat; she is the wife and business partner of former professional wrestling mogul, Vince Mcmahon, who brought the world of professional wrestling into the mainstream after purchasing the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) now the WWE from his father, but she is also someone who has thrown herself into the world of politics. In January of 2009, Mcmahon was nominated to the Connecticut Board of Education by then Governor, M. Jodi Rell. In a letter confirming the nomination. Rell makes mention of Mcmahon's degree in education from East Carolina University.... a degree that she has never earned.
Mcmahon did address the "discrepancy", noting that she had reached out to Jodi about the "error". It is unclear whether this is the result of a simple error; although, it should be noted that given the sketchy nature of the other nominees picked for Trump's cabinet, and Linda Mcmahon's obvious close connections to her husband, who has fallen from grace due to a handful of allegations and complaints of abuse and sexual misconduct. it is difficult to drown out any semblance of 'simple errors' in her past.
